Always seen as the clear market leader in the world of high end spas, recent years has seen the family run chain giving away ground to other luxury health farms. Owner Stephen Purdew has decided he needs to stop the rot and he’s drafted in a new general manager to turn his flagship branch around and jobs are on the line.
This delightful film follows their efforts as they undergo a challenging period of change and gently delves into the lives of the neurotic middle classes and sees how a diet, a massage or a boot camp is helping them resolve a marriage breakup, an untimely redundancy or a family tragedy.
