Filmed over 18 months, this engaging documentary sees us on the frontline with the Police, investigating why only one percent of reported rapes result in a conviction.

The programme follows five people who have reported rape and the detectives investigating their cases as they journey through the criminal justice system.

They include 'Sam', who says she was raped by a stranger after a night out, Fiona who alleges she was raped by someone she knew, ‘Adam’ whose historical abuse took place more than 40 years ago and two sisters, Alex and Chyann, who say they were repeatedly raped by their father as children and whose case has already been turned down by the Crown Prosecution Service.
