Across North America, orphaned grizzly bear cubs are typically euthanized or confined for life. Grizzly Rewild follows a one-of-a kind effort to raise orphaned grizzly cubs returning them to the wild under close scientific monitoring.

After months in shelter care, this film follows five orphans tracking their survival, instincts, and testing the science of rewilding.

From the high-risk release to the hard realities of finding food, avoiding people, and surviving winter, the film probes whether rewilding grizzly bear cubs is a viable option.

Combining intimate images rearing the cubs, dramatic field study access, and striking wilderness cinematography, Grizzly Rewild offers a rare, ground-level look at a breakthrough approach to grizzly bear conservation.
